My poor neglected blog...I have left it untended since the spring. Time seems to fly by at warp speed especially in the summertime!
Fortunately I have been busy creating. But today is not about my many pieces of fiber art that I have been steadily working on this summer. Today is about my other passion-photography & photoshop.I haven't played along with Kim Klassen's TT group in quite a while.
So here's today's results of playing with textures and layers and filters:
This is the ferris wheel at Navy Pier in Chicago.
I finally rode it for the first time back in July. Took lots of photos of the wheel and of the city while riding it.
First I posterized the photo. Played with hue & saturation. Added another photo I took at the Museum of Science & Industry the same day which was a reflection of water ripples. I flipped the rippled photo and adjusted the opacity to mimic the circular ferris wheel. Then I added Kim's 'touch of warm overlay' texture and…
